Allied possesses full litigation capabilities through its Legal Department. Our staff is able to evaluate the potential recovery of any account, and reviews cases for suit when a debtor is found to have the ability to pay, but neglects to do so voluntarily. Once repayment capability is confirmed, suit authorization is immediately requested.
Once suit authorization is received, the following steps are taken:
- A summons and complaint are prepared
- Venue determination and process of service are handled internally to ensure proper and timely service of the summons
- Successful Service
- Answered complaint is reviewed by paralegal for resolution prior to court appearances
- Unanswered complaint results in default judgment
- Enforcement of Judgment: Allied evaluates for garnishment, judicial lien, installment pay orders and other potential assets
