The major cities in this area are Grand Haven, Holland, Allendale, Hudsonville, Jenison, Zeeland, Allegan, and South Haven.


For over 30 years, Center for Women in Transition has been providing assistance and opening doors for women and children as they deal with the significant challenges resulting from domestic violence, sexual assault, and other life-changing situations.

DOOR is a non-denominational Christian mission organization of many Deaf people (and a few hearing people) with a big vision and a big God.

Imagination Station opened its doors in May 2003 with the primary purpose of providing a "World Class Child Care Program of Excellence".

The Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area awards over $340,000 in scholarships each year to more than 190 students to attend schools of higher education throughout the nation.

The Boys & Girls Clubs serve the Greater Holland community through provision of life-enhancing programs led by a staff of dedicated professionals and volunteers. Young people are supported through five Core Program Areas: Education & Career Development, Character and Leadership Development, Sports & Recreation, Health & Fitness, and the Arts.

Benjamin's Hope is a first of its kind community model designed to address the multifaceted needs of individuals and families affected by autism and developmental disability. An emerging, interactive community where people with extraordinary needs will realize a future of meaning, security and hope. Our mission is to be an embracing natural setting where people with disability and the community gather for Christ-centered fellowship, treatment, housing and meaningful work.

YoungLives is a ministry of Young Life especially for teen moms and their babies. Through traditional Young Life activities like club, camp and Campaigners, YoungLives mentors come alongside young women in a way we believe Jesus would do: with compassion, support and hope.
